Diversion

by Jupinderjit Singh

They came on me - a rugged part of earth-
and cleaned,
removed the weeds and pebbles,
few stones and thorns and
levelled the potholes.

The quickly smoothened me was their diversion path
till the repaved the original and left

and weeds and thorns grew again.

I, a rugged part of earth.

usually we consider only lines that rhyme as poetry. But this concept has changed long ago. still, ur suggestion seems good..let me see if I can rhyme it somehow
