why are indians sitting ducks?? j j singh

I am increasingly getting ashamed of being an Indian. This miserable feeling arises several times a day. No, it is not because of corruption and poverty only. It is mainly because of the lack of character among us.

Pakistan has been needling us since decades. We dont have any means to stop them other than using diplomatic pressures and running like a crying baby , a complaining baby, to Uncle Sam. The agony Uncle listens to us , issues statement and under the table gives funds to Pakistan and not much dust is raised when Pakistan diverts the funds for using against India.

And now China is doing it. It refuses to acknowledge the mcmohan line demarcating the sino-india border. It makes incursions into our territory. drops food packets paints the rocks but only we coudl say is that we are also doing it. No one tells what we are doing? And then we blame media for raking up the issue again ad again. China dear, plz keep coming..we are good hosts.no probs. take our land,,all yours.

Have you wondered why we are like this? China has encircled India. It has got base in Srilanka, pakistan, bhutan and tibet. and when we finally try to have base in mongolia, we withdraw at the last moment. and we say we shelve this plan to have better relations with china!!! let us keep improving relations this way!!!

why cant we as a nation stand up and tell these countries enough is enough. do we always be happy repulsing their evil designs and attacks. Why cant we be aggressive? why cant we think of conquering the world. Did the slide start from Ashoka onwards when he forsake war....he could have won many countries....or is it because of divisions between sikhs that despite winning afghanistan we lost it.

come to thin of it, how many conquerors we had. mughals, greek , britishers, afghanis all came to india and looted and plundered. we did win small battle here and there but we lost the wars...because all rulers were divided and could not think of being world conquerors.

We still are like that.....

we still cheer when Leander Paes teams up with a foreigner to beat Mahesh bhupathi and his foreign partner in the US open....leander jumps with joy and we also say an Indian won...but an Indian ha lost also...a foreign country has half the share in the trophy....leander and mahesh were best when they were one, united and a team...now either of them can win but country loses...we are still divided...and we would still be ruled and shoved around....
