If you have the heart and mind of a true Indian, this movie is definitely going to offend you. And this one is for the Director of the movie-There is no honour in the nominations for the Oscar Awards if you put not only the country but its men to shame by portraying the most painful picture in a ridiculous way.
India does not comprise of slums alone. I am not sure about the datas but my common sense says not more than 5 per cent of India lives in slums. They are a pockmark on our society but then who has done anything to improve their lives?
Can I ask you Mr Producer if you will donate the money made from the movie to rehabilitate a slum? I know the answer. You the “Oscar greedy” bunch of people, there is no honour even if you walk with an Oscar or two or for that matter all the ten. For you knew how “small” the Americans were that they would lap up with great gusto if you glorified them by belittling your country.
Can the Americans tell me if there are no gangs in their country? The world knows about their notorious gangs. The world knows that they kill people for a penny on the streets in cold blood. Then why- “This is true America my son.” This one liner has bought our “Oscar greedy” team 10 nominations and of course the American Guild award. And many more would be coming.
At the same time I am thankful to the movie that it has made me realize how small the Americans are-citizens of the so called world power. Just a single line about them in the movie and they have showered it with awards and nominations. We may be a developing country but we are taking the most ridiculous criticism and welcoming it with applause.
Last but not the least my dear makers of the movie, you have no right to call slum dwellers as dogs. Instead you should be called the dogs and the movie- Slumdog Millionaire should now be rechristened as Producer Dog, Director Dog Millionaires.

Mr Danny Boyle, you must read this!!!!! This will surely take the fizz out of your elation as the director of oscar nominated movie. I am sure you would take care not to offend Indians with remarks like, " let me show you true America" in the movie.
After watching the movie, I came out of the theater with a question in my mind... What made it win Golden Globes n Oscar nomination? I have seen better films that deserved these awards but failed to make it.. Then what is it that has won it so much appreciation? The answer is that one scene where Mr. Boyle endeavors to show the real bit of America and India which is no less than a slap in the face of Indians.
I have seen films that portray India as poor but never as gutter of misery.. Its indeed an over hyped and disappointing that tries its best to insult India.
I being an Indian condemn this movie!
